Modeling pressure pulsation and backflow in progressing cavity pumps with deformable stator

چکیده

This contribution studies the impact of rotor-stator interaction in a single-stage progressing cavity pump on flow rate and pressure. Specifically, we investigate effect rotor movement sealings formed with deformable stators for various speeds pressures. Sealings are reconstructed help geometric 3D model. We analyze tangential radial deviation from its reference path show that affects rate, whereas pressure dynamics. The conjectures confirmed laboratory test setup.

Intraocular Pressure Reduction Is Associated with Reduced Venous Pulsation Pressure

PURPOSE To explore whether alterations in intraocular pressure (IOP) affect vein pulsation properties using ophthalmodynamometric measures of vein pulsation pressure. PATIENTS AND METHODS Glaucoma patients had two retinal vein pulsation pressure (VPP) measurements from upper and lower hemiveins performed by ophthalmodynamometry at least 3 months apart. All subjects had VPP and IOP recorded at...

Unsteady Pressure and Velocity Measurements in Pumps

The objective of this paper is to report the state-of-the-art of unsteady pressure measurements in pumps. Though optical techniques seem in some aspects more attracting, unsteady pressure measurements can give a detailed insight in static as well as dynamic operating behaviour of pumps. A brief description of wall mounted pressure transducers and of probes fitted with miniature pressure transdu...

Pressure and work analysis of unsteady, deformable, axisymmetric, jet producing cavity bodies

This work lays out a methodology for calculating the pressure distribution internal to a generic, deformable, axisymmetric body with an internal cavity region whose deformation expels/ingests finite jets of water. This work is partially motivated by a desire to model instantaneous jetting forces and total work required for jellyfish and cephalopod locomotion, both of which can be calculated fro...
